Feature Story | Eduardo G. Ong, PhD, DPA, DBA: Father of Philippine Real Estate

Dr. Eduardo G. Ong, the “Father of Philippine Real Estate,” is currently the chairman of the Professional Regulatory Board of Real Estate Service (PRB-RES), which spearheads the implementation of the Real Estate Service Act (RESA).

He is a highly respected International Management Consultant, Realtor, Educator, and Business Coach.

Dr. Ong has six (6) degrees to his credits: BS Commerce (1967, University of Santo Tomas); Master of Science in Commerce (1975 , University of Santo Tomas); a Law Degree (1995, Philippine Law School) and Three (3) Doctorate Degrees – Doctor of Philosophy Major in Commerce (1985, University of Santo Tomas), Doctor of Public Administration (2005, Trinity University of Asia); and Doctor in Business Administration (2008,
Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST)). He was also awarded an Honorary PhD degree from the Universidad PanAmericana during its Asian Graduation Ceremony held at the Macau Tower, Macau, China (2018) and Doctorate Fellow from the Academy of Multi-Skills (2019).

He has been in the academe, real estate and business arena for more than three (3) decades. He was a former Dean of Business Administration, Dean of the Graduate School, and Vice President of Academic affairs of leading universities in Metro Manila and a Professor of Business and Public Administration, Consultant and Business Coach for several Real Estate Companies and Business Corporations.

Furthermore, conferred diplomate in Business Education, fellow in Personnel Management and fellow in Real Estate Management, Dr. Ong has published 6 books on real estate, business, economics and sociology. He was recently given recognition as Doctor Fellow and International Visiting Professorial Fellow of the Royal Institution of Singapore.
