Filipinohomes pinned new rent managers in Bohol on May 30, equipping them to serve the province’s growing tourism‑driven rental market.
BOHOL — Filipinohomes formally inducted a new batch of rental specialists during a Rent Managers pinning ceremony at its Bohol office on May 30, 2026. Each newly accredited professional received a certificate and a lapel pin marking their training in listing management, tenant screening, lease documentation, and Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development compliance. The pins, worn during client meetings, signal that the agent is qualified to handle rental transactions through the Rent.ph platform.
The ceremony adds a rental‑management layer to the network’s existing sales‑oriented activities in the province. Earlier in May, Filipinohomes held a brokerage training session at the same office and signed Team VIP as a dedicated sales team. Cebu Landmasters also conducted a Train the Trainers session at Costa Mira Beachtown Panglao, equipping local leaders with product knowledge. The pinning ceremony now positions Bohol agents to serve both buyers and landlords.
A Province Lifted by Tourism and Infrastructure
Bohol’s property market is gaining momentum from record visitor numbers and major upgrades. Bohol‑Panglao International Airport handled 2.22 million passengers in 2025 and will transition to private management under Aboitiz InfraCapital this month. A ₱4.53‑billion upgrade will increase annual capacity to 2.5 million within two years.
The province welcomed its first direct charter flight from Japan on May 2, carrying 163 tourists. Governor Erico Aristotle Aumentado called it an important step toward regular direct connections. Foreign arrivals rose nearly 15 percent year‑on‑year, and the provincial government is now pushing for visa‑upon‑arrival access for Chinese travelers.
The Bellevue Resort recently became Bohol’s first halal‑certified and DOT‑accredited Muslim‑friendly accommodation, broadening the province’s appeal to Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern travelers. The national Expanded 4PH Program also continues to offer affordable homeownership through Pag‑IBIG at a subsidized 3 percent interest rate.
For the newly pinned Rent Managers, the training opens access to Filipinohomes’ national property database and the Rent.ph booking system. They can now list short‑term and long‑term rentals, assist landlords with tenant placement, and coordinate guest communications—skills especially valuable in a market where tourism drives rental demand. With airport capacity expanding and international arrivals climbing, Bohol’s need for professional rental management is expected to grow.
