These includes proper handwashing and hygiene and boost your immune system.

Here are ways to combat Covid-19 and boost your immune system against the deadly disease caused by the virus.

Personal Hygiene 

Personal hygiene is one of the basic preventive ways to prevent getting infected by the virus and from spreading it to your family. Taking a shower everyday and constantly washing your hands with soap for 20 mins is one of the few ways to keep the virus from spreading and infecting people who will most likely get Covid-19.

Eating Healthy Meals

Beside having good personal hygiene, eating healthy is one of the simplest things you can do to help boost your immune system. If possible, lessen processed foods so you will get the vitamins your body needs. Thoroughly clean your fruit, vegetables, and even meat right after you buy it from the market. Remember to also prepare your foods and cook it thoroughly to prevent any stomach upsets. Eating homecooked food ensures you safe meals without preservatives.

Get Enough Sleep 

Our bodies all require sleep in order to restore and rejuvenate, grow muscle, repair tissues, and synthesize hormones. It is one way the body recharges and rest after a long day. It is also the time when the body resets. Sleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout your life. Make sure to get a good amount of sleep so it will not cause havoc on your immune system.

Take Your Multivitamins

Now is not a good time to get sick. So make sure your body is at a top health and getting the necessary vitamins and minerals to function well. Do not underestimate the power of multivitamins. Take Vitamin C, D and Zinc to help boost your immune system.

Exercise at Home

Being healthy also means being fit. A healthy body is not just putting in healthy food but making sure that we are getting enough body movements so that our body won’t be weak and easily get sick. Try downloading fitness apps or watching exercise videos of routines that you can do from home. If you do not have any exercise equipment, find one that does not require it. You can get the whole family to exercise with you. Not only will you be healthy but you’re also spending time with your family and building a healthy routine together
