Price is typically the main determining factor in selecting a hotel however you also need to consider other items depending on the nature or purpose of the trip and who you’re with. Things to consider in selecting your hotel include location, parking, extra fees, the rating or the number of stars, onsite facilities, complimentary breakfast, family-friendliness, pet-friendliness, reliability versus local flavor, and of course review just to get a feel for what you can expect.

A non-smoking property but has designated smoking areas. Very close to SM, Veranza Mall and KCC Mall. A Very good location with the General Santos International Airport within a 30-minute drive away. Offer several activities like evening entertainment, night club/DJ, Karaoke, Massage, Spa, Fitness Center and sauna. Guests can enjoy a spread of delectable cuisines at the 3 in-house restaurants – Tea Leaf, Mint Café and Zanzibar. Meals can also be ordered and served in the privacy of guests’ rooms.

Listed as one of the leading boutique hotels in the city, new and Italian-inspired, one can surely expect international standards of both products and services. It is strategically located near the SM Gensan and other establishments, easy trike rides outside and a very helpful security staff making it easy and safe to go out anytime. You may also experience Italian dining at the Café Verona and the hotel offers free breakfast too that I think is very uncommon in other hotels in the city.

You need not go far away if you need something outside your room. The place provides convenience and quality service. Dining, entertainment and commercial establishments are available at the SunCity Complex. Good for leisure and business trips since it can also accommodate functions and banquets with the largest ballroom to accommodate 250 pax in theatre style. It is located near a gold course and health care centers.
Columbus Plaza Hotel

This is one of the newest in the city and is very elegant. If you consider comfort number one in your list in searching for a place to stay, then the Columbus Plaza hotel should cater to that need. One of the more established hotels in the city, guests are assured of a peaceful stay since its hidden from the main highway yet still provides the easy access to the heart of the city. Great for conventions and seminars for as big as 1000 pax! It has a pool too for relaxation and surely adds fun time for the family.
