Surfing, caving and island hopping is just a few of the things to do in Siargao Island. I bet, many of you puts Siargao on top of the list. A vacation trip won’t be complete without food. Top on the list is Kermit Siargao. Kermit is known for their bricked pizza and homemade pasta. They are also known for their great customer service. And for the dessert their choco lava cake is a must try.

If you are a coffee lover, you will surely love to try the “authentic coffee” that’s how the travelers call it. The iced coffee treat at The Pleasure Point Cafe of Siargao is another must try. They are also known for serving the best breakfast meals in town.

Fish carpaccio, Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli and spring rolls of Kalinaw Resort Restaurant is raving the internet reviews. It’s quiet pricey though, but who cares, good food comes with a price. Well, not all the time but in this case, it is.

Another Island favorite fine dining restaurant is the restaurant at Kawayan Siargao Resort. It’s a french owned resort restaurant that offers french cuisine. Their version of pork tenderloin and Spanish Mahi mahi is a talk of town. Foreigners love the place not only for its good food but also because of its ambiance and customer service. The staff is very traveler friendly and helpful.

Eating healthy? If you want power bowls and fresh fruits, head on to Shaka Siargao. Their power bowl is to die for. Power bowl meals or “athletes food” is a bowl of protein, gluten, vegetables and fruits with a sprinkle or cup of oatmeal and other grains to power you for the day. It’s famous to the surfers but gained popularity to tourists and locals who choose to eat a healthier option of breakfast. Shaka is near the Cloud 9 and surfers just love their power bowls as it fuels them before and after surfing.

Good food completes the whole travel experience. Without it, a trip is incomplete. Thus looking for the best in town is on top of your to do list. We will explore more of Siargao soon.
