Filipinohomes CEO Anthony Leuterio led a Zoom orientation for Bacolod and Iloilo recruits, equipping them with skills to launch real estate careers in growing markets.
ILOILO CITY – Filipinohomes founder and CEO Anthony Leuterio personally welcomed a fresh batch of aspiring real estate professionals through a live Zoom New Agents Orientation on June 26, 2026. The session connected beginners from Bacolod and Iloilo, giving them direct access to the leader of the country’s largest real estate network.
A Personal Welcome from the Founder
Leuterio, the 2024 International Realtor of the Year, guided participants through the fundamentals that turn beginners into earning agents. He shared prospecting techniques that work in the field, client handling methods that build trust, and a clear roadmap to a first six‑figure commission. His presence gave the virtual room a sense of purpose and excitement.
The orientation introduced the network’s national multi‑listing platform, accreditation requirements under the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development, and ethical guidelines for every client interaction. New recruits learned that success in real estate is built on integrity, consistency, and service. The live format allowed instant questions and real‑time mentorship.
Digital marketing took a prominent spot in the curriculum. Trainers demonstrated how to use social media platforms to generate leads, nurture inquiries, and convert online conversations into site visits. Participants practiced crafting engaging posts and managing client follow‑ups through simple digital systems.
The session emphasized that modern agents must be comfortable with technology. The network’s multi‑listing platform, accessible from any device, enables agents to match buyers with properties from across the country. For newcomers, this removes the intimidation of starting with a limited inventory.
Bacolod’s property market offers fertile ground for new agents. Major developers are actively expanding townships, with PHINMA Properties building within the Saludad estate and Megaworld’s Sugartown pushing ahead. Suntrust Properties is targeting over 5,000 homes across Negros Occidental, signaling deep demand.
Festival tourism adds another layer of activity. The MassKara Festival has been extended to 18 days in October, drawing crowds that fuel short‑term rental demand. These events create opportunities for agents to serve both homebuyers and investors looking for rental income.
Iloilo City continues to outperform as a regional economic hub. It recently overtook Metro Cebu in occupied office spaces, driven largely by the business process outsourcing sector at Megaworld’s Iloilo Business Park. The park generates approximately 20,000 direct jobs, creating a steady stream of employees who need homes.
Infrastructure improvements further boost the city’s appeal. A P74‑million “green tunnel” along Diversion Road broke ground in May, adding shaded cycling and pedestrian paths to create a cooler urban corridor. The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas is also building its new regional office inside the business park.
After the orientation, participants will complete DHSUD accreditation and the network’s mandatory starter kit training. Each recruit will be paired with a unit manager for field mentoring, ensuring hands‑on guidance. They will gain access to Filipinohomes’ national property database and developer partners active across Western Visayas.
The network’s recent activities in both cities have built a strong support system. Product knowledge sessions for WeeComm and Suntrust Properties have already equipped local agents. The June 26 virtual orientation now adds a new cohort ready to serve the region’s growing housing demand, backed by the country’s largest real estate network.
