Team Red Diamond’s Bacolod orientation on July 4 equipped new agents with sales skills, mentorship, and market knowledge amid booming local property development.
BACOLOD CITY – Team Red Diamond of Filipinohomes opened its doors to a new group of aspiring real estate professionals on July 4, 2026, at the network’s Bacolod office. The New Agents Orientation provided a full morning of foundational skills and market insight, preparing participants for careers in one of the Visayas’ fastest-growing property markets.
A Hands‑On Start for Beginners
The session was built for those with zero experience. Trainers took recruits through prospecting, teaching them to turn everyday conversations into leads. They also practiced handling client objections, so that every inquiry feels like an opportunity rather than a hurdle. Digital marketing tools were introduced, with a focus on creating simple, effective social media content.
A clear roadmap to earning a first six‑figure commission gave the group a tangible goal. The step‑by‑step plan broke down what often feels like an overwhelming journey into achievable milestones. By the end of the morning, each participant had a written action plan and a clearer picture of their path forward.
Participants also learned the administrative side of the profession. They were introduced to the network’s national multi‑listing platform, which instantly connects agents to a nationwide inventory of properties. The orientation covered the accreditation process with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development and the ethical standards that govern client interactions. Mentorship was emphasized as the backbone of their early careers: every new agent will be paired with an experienced team leader for hands‑on guidance.
The orientation arrived at a moment when Bacolod’s real estate market is brimming with opportunity. PHINMA Properties recently broke ground on Dahlia Tower, the first of eleven towers at Maayo Terraces within the Saludad Township. The project is expected to generate ₱26 billion in revenues from nearly 3,000 residences, signalling deep demand for quality homes.
Megaworld is advancing its 97‑hectare Sugartown township along the Bacolod‑Silay Airport Road, investing ₱8 billion over the next several years. Its subsidiary, Suntrust Properties, targets over 5,000 homes across Negros Occidental. SMDC, meanwhile, is turning over approximately 1,100 units at Smile Residences and developing Parkville, a 2,394‑lot residential community. These developments create a steady pipeline of potential buyers and renters for newly trained agents.
The city’s vibrant festival scene adds another layer of demand. The MassKara Festival has been extended to 18 days this October, promising a surge of tourists and short‑term rental bookings. The 30th Panaad sa Negros Festival posted a 47 percent jump in sales, drawing a record crowd. Such events remind agents that Bacolod is not just a place to live but a destination to experience.
Team Red Diamond’s orientation is the latest in a series of people‑centered activities at the Bacolod office. In recent weeks, the team completed a product knowledge seminar with Suntrust Properties, while Team VIP held a “kamustahan” session to check on agent well‑being and performance. The network also convened unit managers and secretaries to align sales systems for the second half of the year.
These back‑to‑back efforts reflect Filipinohomes’ commitment to building a skilled and motivated workforce. By investing in training, mentorship, and emotional support, the network ensures its agents are prepared to serve Bacolod’s growing base of homebuyers and investors. For the new recruits, the orientation was the first step into a career that merges personal growth with community impact.
