Team VIP of Filipinohomes completed a Suntrust Properties product seminar in Bacolod on June 4, 2026, focusing on the new La Sonrisa project and the developer's expanding Negros pipeline.
BACOLOD CITY — Team VIP of the Filipinohomes network deepened its product expertise on Suntrust Properties Inc. during a special seminar at the company's Bacolod office on June 4, 2026. The session equipped agents with the latest information on the Megaworld subsidiary's residential portfolio, with a spotlight on La Sonrisa, the developer's newest project rising within the 97‑hectare Sugartown township in nearby Talisay City. The training covered La Sonrisa's four house models and their price points.
The session also covered payment schemes and buyer qualification guidelines. Agents reviewed updated sales materials for Suntrust's other projects in Negros, including La Riviera in Cadiz City and The Fountain Grove. The developer aims to offer a total of 5,288 houses across the province. "Suntrust's expanding pipeline in Negros Occidental gives our agents a steady stream of inventory to offer to families and overseas Filipino workers," a Team VIP representative said.
La Sonrisa: A Township Within a Township
Suntrust Properties, a wholly‑owned subsidiary of Megaworld, broke ground on La Sonrisa on March 21, 2026. The 15‑hectare modern‑inspired residential development in Barangay Efigenio Lizares, Talisay City, is designed to offer affordable house‑and‑lot packages. Total contract prices range from PHP 2.8 million to PHP 5.1 million, making homeownership accessible to a broad segment of the market.
The project is the first residential development under Suntrust within Sugartown, Megaworld's P8‑billion, 37th township. Located less than five minutes from Bacolod‑Silay Airport and around 15 minutes from the city center, La Sonrisa offers easy access to employment, education, and commercial hubs. Amenities include a multipurpose hall, basketball court, swimming pool, parks, playground, guardhouse, and perimeter fence.
The June 4 Suntrust seminar follows a string of Filipinohomes activities in the city over the past month. On May 6, the network opened its 142nd office and conducted a 300‑agent wealth seminar at Ayala Central Hall. On May 23, agents completed a startup kit training. On May 25, the network hosted an alignment meeting with SMDC's new regional broker directors.
These back‑to‑back training and product knowledge events have built a steady pipeline of well‑equipped salespersons. The June 4 Suntrust seminar adds another major developer to their portfolio. For Team VIP, the session provided updated product specifications, sample amortisation schedules, and a clear understanding of how La Sonrisa fits into the broader Sugartown master plan.
