How to get there
You can take a plane through Cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines when travelling from Manila or Cebu and land on the second largest airport in the country, the General Santos International Airport. Expected time of arrival to the city is one hour and forty- five minutes.
Since GenSan’s seaport no longer has ferry trips to and from Manila, Zamboanga and Iloilo, people who wish to get to GenSan by boat and are near Cagayan de Oro or Iligan City may take a ferry in the said cities.
GenSan is conglomerated with other cities, municipalities and small towns such as Davao and Koronadal, Sarangani and South Cotabato provinces, which makes it even better for investments in trade and industry and more open to tourists. Visitors from these places may ride a bus or a van which may take a two- or an- hour drive.
