Batch 2 UM Contract Signing at Filipinohomes Gensan Adds Leaders as Expanded 4PH Delivers 7,430 Housing Units
Updated May 1, 2026

The second batch of unit managers signed their contracts at 9:00 AM on April 14, 2026, at the Filipinohomes Laurel Main Office in General Santos City. The signing follows the successful Batch 1 ceremony on April 10 and comes as the city’s economy outpaces the national average and a first‑of‑its‑kind PPP redevelops the Central Public Market.
GENERAL SANTOS CITY – The Filipinohomes Laurel Main Office in General Santos City held its Batch 2 Unit Managers (UM) Contract Signing on April 14, 2026, at 9:00 AM. The ceremony formalized the affiliation of a second wave of unit managers, granting them access to the network’s national property database, developer partnerships, training resources, and administrative support systems.
The event follows the Batch 1 signing on April 10 and precedes the BEXTeam Direct signing on April 16, reinforcing Filipinohomes’ commitment to building a strong leadership foundation in South Cotabato. The new unit managers will be responsible for recruiting, training, and mentoring salespersons as the network expands its footprint in one of Mindanao’s fastest‑growing real estate markets.
Recent Filipinohomes activities in General Santos City
The Batch 2 signing is part of a busy April for Filipinohomes in Gensan. On April 10, the first batch of unit managers signed their contracts at the same venue. On April 16, BEXTeam Direct held its contract signing. Following these events, founder and CEO Anthony Leuterio arrived in the city on April 21 for a strategic visit, later convening a leaders dinner meeting at Horizon Suites. On the same day, team leaders Antonette Mary Lasala and Michael Lasala led a BexPositive contract signing. On April 22, Leuterio conducted a new agents orientation at Grand Summit Hotel, drawing aspiring real estate professionals. Subsequent contract signings included Team Red Diamonds (April 25) and Team X‑Factor (April 30), demonstrating sustained momentum throughout the month.
Why General Santos City is a 2026 real estate hub
General Santos City continues to post one of the strongest economic showings in Mindanao. The city closed the past two years with a 6.8 percent GDP growth rate, outperforming the national average of 5.6 percent and signaling broad momentum for local business. The Philippine Statistics Authority reported that the SOCCSKSARGEN economy grew by 4.8 percent in 2025, exceeding the national average despite a more challenging domestic environment.
Business confidence remains high. The city government generated ₱376 million in revenue from business permit renewals this year, a significant increase from last year’s ₱326 million. Mayor Lorelie Pacquiao said the figure reflects a strengthening local economy, with more businesses investing in the city and increased economic activity across the community.
Infrastructure catalysts
Two major infrastructure projects are reshaping the city’s landscape. The ₱2.33‑billion redevelopment of the General Santos City Central Public Market into Palengke Heneral – the first LGU‑led PPP project in Mindanao under the PPP Code – is now underway. Under the agreement, Robinsons Land Corp. will finance, design, and construct a three‑storey integrated public market and commercial complex on a 23,126‑square‑meter site, with a total floor area exceeding 14,800 square meters. The facility will feature solar panels, clearer zoning between wet and dry sections, improved sanitation systems, CCTV coverage, and a three‑level mall with an al fresco area overlooking Sarangani Bay. RLC will operate the facility for 25 years before handing it over to the city government.
The Department of Public Works and Highways has allotted approximately P50 million for the construction of a major floodway near the main commercial district, covering a 1.3‑kilometer stretch along flood‑prone Aparente Street. The box‑type floodway will connect with the main drainage canal along the national highway, which extends to Sarangani Bay. The DPWH recently spent around P96 million expanding the city’s drainage system from Barangay Lagao to the coastal village of Barangay Bula.
Residential projects driving demand
The residential sector is also expanding rapidly. PHirst Park Homes Gen San, a ₱5.3‑billion, 23.7‑hectare development in Barangay Baluan, officially launched on February 21, 2026, marking the affordable housing brand’s maiden entry into Mindanao. The project will deliver more than 2,400 housing units, featuring the Amani townhouse (36 sqm) and Dua single‑detached (48 sqm) models, designed for first‑time homebuyers and growing families. As of its launch, 150 units had already been sold, with target completion set for 2030.
Under the national government’s Expanded 4PH Program, Deca Homes Gensan 2 in Barangay Apopong will offer 7,430 house‑and‑lot units once completed, with units offered through Pag‑IBIG Fund’s subsidized home loan program. The first batch of house‑and‑lot units has been completed and turned over to homebuyers, with Deca Homes already selling 600 units in just four months. The project spans nearly 500,000 square meters and includes open spaces, parks, and community facilities.
Strengthening the local sales force
For the unit managers who signed on April 14, the contract marks the official start of their leadership roles within the Filipinohomes ecosystem. They will undergo onboarding, including training on the network’s multi‑listing platform and integration with developer partners such as PHirst Park Homes and Deca Homes.
With General Santos City’s real estate market gaining unprecedented traction – driven by a 6.8 percent GDP growth rate, a historic PPP‑funded public market redevelopment, ₱50 million in new flood control infrastructure, and over 9,800 housing units entering the pipeline – the Batch 2 signing positions the new unit managers to recruit, train, and lead a growing team of agents, backed by the full resources of the country’s largest real estate network.
