BEXTeam Direct Contract Signing at Filipinohomes Gensan office as City Builds First Tourism Hub
Updated May 1, 2026

BEXTeam Direct held its contract signing on April 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Filipinohomes Laurel Main Office in General Santos City. The ceremony comes as the city government constructs its first dedicated Tourism Hub at City Oval Plaza, designed to boost visitor arrivals and support local businesses.
GENERAL SANTOS CITY – BEXTeam Direct formalized its affiliation with Filipinohomes through a contract signing on April 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Laurel Main Office in General Santos City. The afternoon ceremony granted the team’s unit managers and salespersons full access to the network’s national property database, developer partnerships, and training resources.
The signing follows the Batch 1 (April 10) and Batch 2 (April 14) unit manager contract signings at the same venue, reinforcing Filipinohomes’ push to build a strong, locally rooted sales force in South Cotabato. BEXTeam Direct becomes the first dedicated team to sign under the BEX banner in Gensan this month.
City builds first Tourism Hub at Oval Plaza
The contract signing coincides with a new initiative by the city government to boost local tourism. Mayor Lorelie Pacquiao ordered the construction of a Tourism Hub at the City Oval Plaza, which she personally inspected on March 24, 2026. The facility aims to provide accessible information on the city’s attractions, key sites, and history, with the goal of attracting more visitors and helping lift the local economy.
According to the mayor’s office, the hub is designed to enhance services for both local and visiting tourists. By centralizing tourism information and promoting the city’s destinations, the hub is expected to increase foot traffic to local businesses, restaurants, and accommodations — an indirect but significant factor for real estate professionals serving the area.
A destination beyond the "Tuna Capital"
While General Santos is widely known as the country's "Tuna Capital," the new Tourism Hub signals a broader push to market the city as a gateway to eco‑tourism attractions, including the Kalaja Karsts Land, the Amsicong waterfalls, and the El Minit Geyser. Improved visitor information and wayfinding are expected to encourage longer stays and repeat visits, which in turn supports demand for short‑term rentals and residential properties.
Strengthening the local sales force
For BEXTeam Direct, the contract signing grants its newly affiliated unit managers and salespersons full access to Filipinohomes’ national property database and developer partnerships. The team will undergo onboarding, including training on the network’s multi‑listing platform.
With the city investing in its first dedicated tourism facility and seeking to attract more visitors, BEXTeam Direct is positioned to serve a growing base of property seekers — from investors eyeing vacation rentals to homebuyers looking for residences near the city’s emerging lifestyle and commercial hubs.
