BEXTeam OverTop held its contract signing before the end of April 2026 at the Filipinohomes Laurel Main Office in General Santos City. The ceremony added a new BEX‑affiliated team to the network’s growing sales force as Mindanao’s “Tuna Capital” pushes forward with major infrastructure and housing projects.
GENERAL SANTOS CITY – BEXTeam OverTop completed its contract signing before the end of April 2026 at the Filipinohomes Laurel Main Office, formalizing the team’s unit managers and salespersons under the network. The signing grants the team full access to Filipinohomes’ national property database, developer partnerships, training resources, and administrative support systems.
The event added a new BEX‑affiliated team to the network’s growing roster in South Cotabato, following other contract signings in the city throughout April, including BEXTeam Direct. It also came on the heels of a major new agents orientation led by the network’s CEO Anthony Leuterio in nearby General Santos City, reinforcing Filipinohomes’ aggressive push to build a strong sales force across key provincial growth hubs.
Why General Santos City is a 2026 real estate hub
General Santos City continued to demonstrate robust economic momentum in the first half of 2026, underpinned by two landmark infrastructure projects that are reshaping the city’s commercial and logistics landscape.
The ₱2.33‑billion redevelopment of the Central Public Market into Palengke Heneral – the first public‑private partnership (PPP) undertaken by a local government unit in Mindanao – is now underway. Robinsons Land Corp. is financing, designing, and constructing a three‑storey integrated public market and commercial complex on a 23,126‑square‑meter site, with a total floor area exceeding 14,800 square meters. The solar‑powered complex introduces clearer zoning between wet and dry sections, advanced sanitation systems, and integrated security features including CCTV monitoring.
At the same time, a Japanese firm, Tokushima Auction Market Co., Ltd., has expressed intent to invest US$1.2 billion (approximately ₱71.3 billion) to develop an AI‑powered global air cargo hub at General Santos International Airport. The redevelopment will include runways exceeding 3,200 meters capable of handling large cargo aircraft, ultra‑low temperature frozen storage (−60°C, 2,000 tons class), and chilled warehouses (4,000 tons class), and is projected to generate 4,550 jobs. The project will be pursued through a PPP scheme and is expected to benefit the city’s tuna industry, as the Philippines has long lacked sufficient large‑scale advanced cold‑chain infrastructure.
For BEXTeam OverTop, the contract signing at the Laurel Main Office marks the official start of its journey within the Filipinohomes ecosystem. The team will undergo onboarding, including training on the network’s multi‑listing platform and integration with developer partners such as Deca Homes and PHirst Park Homes.
With General Santos City’s real estate market gaining unprecedented traction – driven by a historic PPP‑funded public market redevelopment and a multi‑billion‑dollar proposed global air cargo hub – the April contract signing positions BEXTeam OverTop to capture a share of this growing market, backed by the full resources of the country’s largest real estate network.
