Filipinohomes and its rental platform Rent.ph are exhibiting at the 10th World Travel Expo Southern Mindanao, happening May 15–17, 2026, at Ayala Malls Abreeza in Davao City. Visitors can explore real estate, rental, and travel offerings, and join on‑site raffles by following both brands’ official Facebook pages.
DAVAO CITY – The country’s largest real estate network and its rental platform are taking their services to one of Mindanao’s biggest travel and lifestyle events this weekend. Filipinohomes and Rent.ph are participating in the World Travel Expo Southern Mindanao 2026, which opened on May 15 and runs until May 17 at Ayala Malls Abreeza in Davao City.
What visitors can expect at the expo
The three‑day event, now on its 10th year, carries the theme “Xtraordinary Journeys, Xceptional Memories.” Organizers have lined up around 25 exhibitors from Visayas and Mindanao, including hotels, resorts, airlines, tour operators, and real estate service providers. Participating establishments are offering exclusive deals, promos, and packages that are typically reserved for face‑to‑face events.
At the Filipinohomes and Rent.ph booth, visitors can learn about residential properties, rental spaces, and investment opportunities across the network’s nationwide portfolio. On‑site representatives are also available to explain how the platform works for both property owners and tenants.
As part of its expo activation, Filipinohomes and Rent.ph are conducting a raffle promotion open to booth visitors. Interested participants simply need to like and follow the official Homes.ph Facebook page and the official Rent.ph Facebook page on‑site. The official draw will take place on May 17, 2026, at the WTEX booth, with winners announced at the same venue.

The expo comes as Davao City continues to draw strong visitor interest. Early 2026 data shows the city recorded 173,000 tourist arrivals in the first two months, a 15 percent increase from the same period last year. Tourism officials are targeting a 50 percent surge during the Kadayawan Festival later this year, fueled by expanded promotions and campaigns.
Davao’s hotel occupancy remains steady, driven by conventions and business travel. Major pre‑booked conventions at SMX Convention Center Davao remain on schedule. Hoteliers report that international corporate bookings and frequent individual travelers continue to arrive as usual, underscoring the city’s resilience.
The city’s reputation as a safe destination also supports travel demand. WTE Managing Director Miles Caballero noted that many travelers see Davao as one of the safest cities in the country, helping offset broader economic concerns.
Beyond the expo, Davao’s lifestyle scene is also expanding. The Duaw Davao Kape ug Tsokolate Crawl returns in June with an expanded format, highlighting the city’s distinction as the “Chocolate Capital of the Philippines.” The month‑long event invites tourists and residents to explore homegrown cafés and chocolate shops, adding to the city’s appeal for both visitors and property investors.
The World Travel Expo appearance follows a series of Filipinohomes milestones in Mindanao. In the first half of May alone, the network opened its 142nd office in Bacolod, conducted a 300‑agent wealth seminar in the same city, and held strategic planning meetings with developer partners such as Johndorf Ventures Corp. Earlier this week, Filipinohomes founder and CEO Anthony Leuterio visited Johndorf Tower in Cebu for a planning session with the developer’s owners, following the building’s five‑award haul at the 2025 PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards.
The Davao expo adds a consumer‑facing touchpoint to those B2B and recruitment activities, allowing Filipinohomes and Rent.ph to connect directly with homebuyers, investors, and travelers interested in combining property ownership with lifestyle goals. Booth visitors can ask about affordable housing options under the Expanded 4PH Program, rental property management through Rent.ph, and investment opportunities in Davao’s residential and mixed‑use projects.
For the thousands expected to walk through Abreeza this weekend, the Filipinohomes and Rent.ph booth offers a one‑stop spot to explore real estate, rentals, and the chance to win prizes—all within a three‑day window where Mindanao’s travel, property, and lifestyle sectors converge.
