Batch 1 contract signing at the FH Win Office in Tunghaan, Minglanilla, formally welcomed Team FH WIN into the Filipinohomes network. The ceremony adds a team dedicated to serving Minglanilla, a bedroom suburb of Cebu City where a ₱2‑billion local developer investment and a proposed bypass road are driving attention.
CEBU CITY – A new team has bolstered Filipinohomes’ footprint in the southern corridor of Metro Cebu with the Batch 1 contract signing of Team FH WIN at the Filipinohomes Win Office in Barangay Tunghaan. The ceremony, held in April 2026, marks the formal entry of the team into the country’s largest real estate network.
The signing grants Team FH WIN access to Filipinohomes’ national property database, developer partnerships, training resources, and administrative support systems, placing the newly signed agents and unit managers in a position to serve the fast‑growing residential market of Minglanilla and neighboring southern Cebu towns.
Tunghaan: a barangay on the rise
Tunghaan is a residential and commercial barangay in the municipality of Minglanilla. According to the 2020 census, it is home to 16,538 residents, representing nearly 11 percent of Minglanilla’s total population. Strategically located along the Natalio Bacalso Avenue (Cebu South Road), the area enjoys direct access to the central highway that links Cebu City to the southern towns of the province.
Barangay Tunghaan is a mix of residential subdivisions, local commercial establishments, and community facilities. Notable nearby developments include City Homes Minglanilla, a two‑hectare project that offers single‑detached houses and condominium units. The barangay is also near key infrastructure planned for the wider Minglanilla area, which directly benefits residents and property values in the immediate vicinity.
The municipality of Minglanilla has long been considered a bedroom suburb of Cebu City, but large‑scale investments and infrastructure projects are now transforming it into a destination in itself. SterlingLand Residences and Development Inc. is rolling out Minglanilla Highlands, a 25‑hectare township in nearby Barangay Tubod. The developer is investing approximately ₱2 billion over the next 14‑15 years to build more than 1,100 housing units, commercial structures and nature‑inspired amenities within a master‑planned community.
Traffic decongestion is also on the horizon. Cebu Governor Pamela Baricuatro has included funding for Minglanilla in the 2026 provincial budget, backing a proposed bypass road that would link Libo in Talisay City to Inayagan, Naga via Minglanilla. The planned bypass is intended to redirect vehicles away from the congested national highway that runs through the heart of Minglanilla, cutting travel time for motorists heading further south. The Department of Public Works and Highways has noted that traffic along the province’s southern corridor has increased by more than 30 percent over the last five years, underscoring the urgency of the project.
The provincial government also continues to support the mass housing segment in Tunghaan. A previous project under the national housing program provided 210 new homes for capitol workers and public school teachers in the barangay, highlighting sustained government attention on the area.
For Team FH WIN, the contract signing is the starting block for its operations in one of Cebu’s most dynamic suburban growth corridors. The team will undergo onboarding that includes training on Filipinohomes’ multi‑listing platform, compliance with Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development regulations, and integration with developer partners serving southern Cebu.
Upon completion of the onboarding process, Team FH WIN will be able to assist first‑time homebuyers, investors, and overseas Filipino workers looking for residential properties in Minglanilla and nearby towns. The team will have access to Filipinohomes’ nationwide referral network, which currently connects over 35,000 agents across the country.
With a ₱2‑billion township investment underway and a bypass road that promises to ease movement to and from the south, Minglanilla is poised to draw even more homebuyers and property seekers. The contract signing of Team FH WIN adds a dedicated, locally‑based team to help meet that rising demand.
