IMUS, Cavite – Filipinohomes founder and CEO Anthony Leuterio, joined by Havitas Properties Chairman Alejandro Mañalac, led a New Agents’ Orientation on May 1, 2026, at 1:30 PM at the Isla Events Center along 334 Tamsui Avenue in Barangay Bayan Luma 2 Imus Cavite. The afternoon session drew dozens of aspiring real estate professionals eager to launch their careers.
The orientation covered essential strategies for beginners: prospecting, client handling, using Filipinohomes’ national multi‑listing platform, and earning a first six‑figure commission. Leuterio, a 2024 International Realtor of the Year, shared field‑tested insights from building the country’s largest real estate network.
Mañalac, whose company Havitas Properties recently won the Gold award in the Outstanding Developer – Residential Resort Style Category at the FIABCI Philippines 2026 Property and Real Estate Excellence Awards for its Aya Hills project, provided mentorship and emphasized the importance of ethical, client‑centered practice. A 35‑year real estate veteran, Mañalac is also the operating principal of Keller Williams Manila Bay and has been recognized as Asia’s Iconic Realtor. His “Shark Principles” program has helped train agents to practice what he calls “responsible real estate.”
Why Cavite is a 2026 real estate hotspot
The Imus orientation comes as Cavite solidifies its position as a prime growth corridor south of Metro Manila. The province’s population, now exceeding 4.6 million, continues to drive housing demand, while major infrastructure projects are reshaping connectivity.
The LRT‑1 Cavite Extension is on track to begin partial operations in the first quarter of 2026, with full operations targeted for the fourth quarter of 2027. The 11.9‑kilometer extension will add eight new stations from Baclaran to Sucat, Parañaque, Las Piñas, and Zapote in Bacoor, significantly reducing travel time between Cavite and Metro Manila.
The Cavite‑Laguna Expressway (CALAX) is also progressing. As of April 2026, the 44.6‑kilometer toll road is 79.5 percent complete, with full completion expected by 2026. The Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange is scheduled for completion in May 2026. These infrastructure upgrades are expected to boost property values and attract more residential and commercial developments along the corridor.
Developer confidence remains high
The provincial government reported a 53.54 percent increase in the fair market value of properties, reflecting strong overall growth in the real estate sector. The province also leads the way in automating real property tax payments, with Caviteños encouraged to settle their 2026 real property tax online – a benefit for new homebuyers navigating tax compliance.
WeeComm, a longtime Filipinohomes partner, continues to develop Newtowne Dasmariñas, a mid‑rise condominium project targeting students and young professionals near De La Salle University – Dasmariñas. Havitas Properties, fresh off its FIABCI Gold, has announced plans to enter the affordable housing market in Calabarzon in 2026, with potential projects in Cavite.
Building a stronger Luzon sales force
For the new agents who completed the orientation, the next steps include onboarding as accredited salespersons, gaining access to Filipinohomes’ developer partners, and receiving mentorship from experienced unit managers. The Imus orientation is part of a series of training events across Luzon, following similar sessions in Bulacan, Manila, and Cavite earlier in the month.
With Cavite’s real estate market poised for continued growth – underpinned by LRT‑1 and CALAX infrastructure projects and a 53.54 percent increase in property values – the May 1 orientation positions a fresh batch of agents to serve homebuyers and investors in one of Luzon’s most dynamic provinces, backed by the full resources of the country’s largest real estate network.
