Filipinohomes Bacolod held a virtual orientation on August 27, training nearly 30 new agents in prospecting, digital marketing, and compliance for the city's growing real estate market.
BACOLOD CITY – Filipinohomes, the country's largest real estate network, brought nearly 30 aspiring professionals together for a New Agents Webinar on August 27, 2026. The Zoom session provided accessible training for recruits across Negros Occidental, equipping them to launch careers in one of the Visayas' fastest-growing property markets.
A Gateway to Real Estate Careers
The virtual orientation covered the essential foundations of real estate success. Participants learned prospecting techniques that turn everyday conversations into business opportunities. Digital marketing strategies were also introduced, showing recruits how to use social media to attract buyers and grow their client base.
Client handling formed a core part of the curriculum, teaching participants how to build trust and guide buyers through one of the biggest decisions of their lives. Compliance with Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development regulations was also emphasized, ensuring that new agents operate ethically and professionally from day one.
The session prioritized hands-on learning over theory. New recruits practiced handling buyer objections, running property searches on the live listing platform, and mapping out their first 30 days as agents. The interactive format allowed participants to engage directly with trainers and leave with a clear action plan.
Each participant now understands how to access Filipinohomes' national property database and leverage the multi-listing platform to serve buyers effectively. The webinar also provided a clear roadmap to earning a first six-figure commission, giving recruits a tangible goal to work toward. This practical approach shortens the learning curve and builds confidence.
The webinar format eliminated geographic barriers, allowing Filipinohomes to reach aspiring agents across Negros Occidental. This standardized approach ensures consistent training quality regardless of location. It has been a cornerstone of the network's expansion strategy, enabling recruitment from Luzon to Mindanao.
For the network, virtual onboarding is both efficient and scalable. It allows rapid deployment of training resources to provincial growth areas where in-person sessions may be limited. The success of this model continues to support the network's push toward 150 branches nationwide.
The webinar comes at a time of strong opportunity for real estate professionals in Bacolod. The city's economy grew by 4.9 percent in 2025, with a GDP of ₱146.09 billion. Residential deliveries are accelerating, with SMDC preparing to turn over approximately 1,100 units at Smile Residences within SM City Bacolod.
PHINMA Properties is advancing Saludad, a 21-hectare master-planned community in Bacolod's North District. This development includes residential neighborhoods, commercial areas, and the TRYP by Wyndham Bacolod hotel. Bacolod North is emerging as a growth corridor shaped by infrastructure and connectivity, ensuring sustained demand for housing.
The August 27 webinar builds on a series of recent training events in Bacolod. Agents recently completed product knowledge seminars with Megaworld, Suntrust Properties, and PHINMA Properties. Team VIP Bacolod held a kamustahan and awarding ceremony on August 17, recognizing top salespersons for July.
These back-to-back activities create a well-trained, motivated sales force ready to serve the market. Newly oriented agents will be assigned to team leaders for mentorship and undergo further training, including product knowledge seminars and digital marketing workshops.
For the nearly 30 participants who completed the webinar, the session marked the first step in their journey with Filipinohomes. They now belong to a network that offers ongoing support, mentorship, and access to developer partnerships. The path to a successful career is clearly laid out before them.
As Filipinohomes continues to expand, events like this ensure a steady pipeline of trained agents. The virtual format reflects the network's commitment to accessible training and its recognition that a skilled sales force is essential to capturing opportunities in growing property markets.
