Team Victorious Secret held its contract signing on April 29, 2026, at the Filipinohomes Cagayan de Oro office, formalizing the affiliation of its unit managers and salespersons. The event adds another active team to the network’s growing roster in Northern Mindanao, as major developers accelerate township projects and infrastructure spending in the region.
CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Team Victorious Secret held its contract signing on April 29, 2026, at the Filipinohomes Cagayan de Oro office, formalizing the affiliation of its unit managers and salespersons. The signing grants the team access to Filipinohomes’ national property database, developer partnerships, training resources, and administrative support systems.
The event comes at a time when Cagayan de Oro is rapidly emerging as Mindanao’s most dynamic real estate market, attracting record levels of investment from national developers and infrastructure spending from both national and local governments.
Why Cagayan de Oro is a 2026 real estate powerhouse
Cagayan de Oro City has cemented its status as the economic engine of Northern Mindanao. According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, the city posted a real gross domestic product growth of 6.8% in 2024, accounting for 28.3% of the region’s total economic output – making it the single largest contributor to Northern Mindanao’s economy. London‑based think tank Oxford Economics identified the city as the sixth‑largest urban economy in the Philippines in 2024, underscoring its growing national importance.
This strong economic momentum has attracted a wave of developer investment. Megaworld Corp. has allocated ₱65 billion for capital spending in 2026, with Cagayan de Oro among its priority growth areas. The company will start land development this year for The Upper Central, its township project in the city, and will launch a new residential project in Cagayan de Oro as part of its 19‑project nationwide pipeline.
Pueblo de Oro Corp. is also expanding aggressively. The developer is building Southridge, a 31‑hectare township designed as a “Silicon Valley‑type” community featuring office spaces, BPO facilities, residential units, leisure areas and retail components. A World Trade Center hall is also being studied within the township. Pueblo de Oro is likewise developing Masterson Mile North, a five‑tower high‑end residential complex with an estimated development cost of ₱13.5 billion, designed by San Francisco‑based architectural firm Gensler and Associates.
Infrastructure projects reshape the city’s landscape
Major infrastructure spending is transforming connectivity across the metropolitan area. The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has approved funding for the Central Mindanao High Standard Highway Construction Project (Cagayan de Oro‑Malaybalay Section), which will reduce travel time between the two cities from 6.5 hours to just 3.5 hours when completed.
Cebu Landmasters Inc. has begun construction of the ₱120‑million Manresa access road, a 2‑kilometer, 10‑meter wide link between Masterson Avenue and Balulang Road that will also provide access to the Macasandig Bridge. Completion is expected in the fourth quarter of 2027. The road is fully funded by CLI and will feature two vehicular lanes and a dedicated bike lane. Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy called the project a key initiative to decongest traffic in Uptown Cagayan de Oro.
The national government has also allocated ₱23 million for four infrastructure projects in Barangay Taglimao, including a two‑storey barangay hall, covered courts for schools, and a road concreting project linking Sitio Nabitay to Barangay Tagpangi. The Department of Economy, Planning and Development (DEPDev)-10 has confirmed that the region’s economy will continue to grow in 2026 despite global pressures, with government measures in place to address the impact of rising fuel prices on households and businesses.
Strengthening the local sales force
For Team Victorious Secret, the contract signing grants its newly affiliated unit managers and salespersons full access to Filipinohomes’ national property database and developer partnerships. The team will undergo onboarding, including training on the network’s multi‑listing platform and integration with developer partners such as Megaworld, Pueblo de Oro, and Cebu Landmasters.
With Cagayan de Oro’s real estate market gaining unprecedented traction, major infrastructure projects reshaping the city’s landscape, and sustained economic growth creating new opportunities, the April 29 contract signing positions Team Victorious Secret to capture a share of this expanding market. The team is now set to serve homebuyers and investors in one of the Philippines’ fastest‑growing metropolitan centers, backed by the full resources of the country’s largest real estate network.
