Team Victory, a sub-team of Wire Toppers, held a contract signing for unit managers and salespersons at the Filipinohomes Bacolod office in May 2026. The signing comes as Bacolod hosts the National PRISAA Games (May 9–16), prepares for the FIBA U18 Asia Cup qualifiers (June 2–6), and the Batang Pinoy National Championships (December 12–18). The Chicken Inasal Festival (May 29–31) and the Bacolod Summer Night Market (until May 31) are also drawing visitors, while PHINMA Properties broke ground on Maayo Terraces’ first tower at Saludad Township on May 8.
BACOLOD CITY – Team Victory, a sub‑team of Wire Toppers, held a contract signing for unit managers and salespersons at the network’s Bacolod office in May 2026. The ceremony formalized the affiliation of the new recruits, granting them full access to the national property database, developer partnerships, training resources, and administrative support systems. The event expanded the Wire Toppers group’s growing nationwide roster as it continues to add fresh talent in key growth corridors.
Recent Filipinohomes momentum in Bacolod
The Team Victory signing follows a series of Filipinohomes events in Bacolod in early and mid‑May. On May 6, the network opened its 142nd office at Corner Burgos‑Lacson Street and conducted a 300‑agent wealth seminar at Ayala Central Hall. That same evening, founder and CEO Anthony Leuterio hosted a dinner meeting for unit managers and team leaders at L Fisher Hotel. On May 7, Team Chin Dynasty and Team Wire Toppers signed contracts at the Bacolod office, and the BEX team toured developer offices (ML&D Development Corp., CLI). The Wire Toppers group itself had earlier signed contracts in Cebu (May 4, 25+ agents) and Iloilo (May 2026).
Bacolod’s property market is being energized by a packed calendar of sports and culinary events, along with active residential development – factors that directly benefit investor‑grade and short‑term rental properties.
National PRISAA Games (May 9‑16) : More than 12,000 delegates from 17 regions are competing across 24 venues, with the grand opening at Panaad Park and Stadium. The city government allocated ₱1 million in financial assistance and provided logistical support for transport, billeting, and security. Organizers confirmed the games are “seen to boost local tourism, promote sports development and showcase the province’s capability in organizing national‑level events”.
FIBA U18 Women’s Asia Cup SEABA Qualifiers (June 2‑6) : Bacolod is hosting the international basketball qualifiers, drawing teams from across Southeast Asia and strengthening the city’s role as a sports tourism hub.
Batang Pinoy 2026 (December 12‑18) : The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) signed a MOA with the city on May 9 for the national grassroots sports spectacle. The 17th edition could draw about 15,000 delegates – potentially tripling to 45,000 arrivals including family members – representing a major boost for hotels and short‑term rentals.
Sixth Annual Chicken Inasal Festival (May 29‑31) : The three‑day celebration honors Bacolod’s world‑famous grilled chicken, with events at Manokan Country, Megaworld’s The Upper East, and Ayala Malls Capitol Central. The city government designated chicken inasal as a cultural property, underscoring its importance to local heritage and tourism.
Bacolod Summer Night Market (Until May 31) : The city government opened the night market along Gatuslao Street in front of the Bacolod Public Plaza, with more than 80 food and dry goods stalls. The initiative waives standard fees for vendors and operates every weekend until May 31.
Residential expansion : PHINMA Properties broke ground on Dahlia Tower, the first tower of Maayo Terraces, a mid‑rise condominium community within Saludad Township (May 8, 2026). The project offers a different kind of condominium living with about 60% open space, emphasizing greenery and community areas. PHINMA President Raphael B. Felix called it “a meaningful step toward a real and active address where homes, institutions, and opportunities are coming together”. SMDC, meanwhile, is slated to turn over approximately 1,192 units at Smile Residences within SM City Bacolod starting this May, part of a regional pipeline of nearly 4,000 units across Western Visayas.
Strengthening the local sales force
For Team Victory, the contract signing grants its newly affiliated unit managers and salespersons full access to Filipinohomes’ national property database and developer partnerships. The team will undergo onboarding, including training on the network’s multi‑listing platform and integration with developer partners such as PHINMA Properties, SMDC, and other major players in Negros Occidental.
With Bacolod’s sports calendar drawing tens of thousands of visitors, culinary festivals celebrating local heritage, and a residential pipeline that includes Maayo Terraces and Smile Residences, Team Victory is well positioned to help meet the rising demand for quality housing and investment properties, backed by the full resources of the country’s largest real estate network.
