Filipinohomes signed a contract with Team LR Direct at its Bacolod office on April 21, 2026. The event follows an April 20 starter kit training and an April 18 new agents orientation. Bacolod's real estate market is booming with major projects from SMDC, Megaworld, and PHINMA.
ILOILO CITY – As the local real estate market heats up, Filipinohomes is bringing its “Build Wealth in Real Estate: Essential Strategies for Beginners” seminar to Iloilo City on May 5, 2026, offering aspiring agents and investors a practical entry point into one of the country’s most promising growth hubs.
The free training will take place from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grand Xing Imperial Hotel. It will be led by Anthony Gerard O. Leuterio, a 2024 International Realtor of the Year awardee and the founder of Filipinohomes. The session is designed for individuals with no prior experience, covering real‑world tactics for prospecting, client handling, deal closing, and tapping into a nationwide network of over 35,000 agents.
What the seminar offers
The May 5 training will focus on turning market knowledge into personal wealth. Participants will learn how to:
Start a real estate career with zero experience
Earn a first six‑figure commission
Build confidence and sustainable momentum
Join a nationwide community of agents and brokers
Leuterio, who built Filipinohomes from a 16‑square‑meter office into one of the country’s largest real estate networks, will share the same field‑tested strategies that have helped thousands of Filipinos launch successful careers.
A recent industry report by Fulgar Architects named Iloilo City among the top ten Philippine locations for residential investment in 2026, alongside Cebu, Davao, Bacolod, and emerging Luzon growth centers. The report highlights that infrastructure‑led development and regional urbanization in these areas are attracting homeowners who seek proximity to employment, transport networks, and mixed‑use communities.
The city’s resurgence is supported by concrete figures. Iloilo has officially breached the 1‑million annual visitor mark, generating PHP 9.4 billion in tourism receipts. To sustain this momentum, the city has allocated nearly PHP 17.6 million over five years to boost its meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions (MICE) sector. Currently, Iloilo offers more than 5,100 hotel rooms and event spaces that can accommodate up to 25,000 delegates. A further USD 2.54 million (about PHP 150 million) is being invested to redevelop historic plazas such as Molo, La Paz, and Jaro.
Infrastructure is also catching up. DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon recently inspected the Aganan and Buhang flyovers, with the northbound lane of the Aganan Flyover (toward Iloilo International Airport) targeted to open in December 2026 and the southbound portion scheduled for completion by February 2027.
On the economic front, Iloilo City has emerged as the fastest‑growing economy in Western Visayas, driven by a robust retail trade sector. A public‑private partnership between the city government and SM Prime Holdings has modernized the Iloilo Central and Terminal Public Markets, creating a model that supports micro, small, and medium enterprises while preserving local heritage.
The event is free, but seats are limited. Interested attendees are encouraged to register at the official reservation link. Walk‑ins may be accommodated only if space permits.
For Ilonggos who have watched the city’s rapid growth from the sidelines, the May 5 seminar offers a clear, no‑fluff path to becoming active participants in Iloilo’s real estate transformation.
