Wiretoppers held an afternoon contract signing at the Filipinohomes Davao Main Office on April 30, adding more than 10 new salespersons to the team’s nationwide roster. Davao condominium take‑up stands at 90 %, house‑and‑lot take‑up at 94 %, and the city ranks among the Philippines’ strongest property hubs outside Metro Manila.
DAVAO CITY – A fresh batch of more than 10 new salespersons signed their contracts with the Wiretoppers team on the afternoon of April 30, 2026, at the Filipinohomes Davao Main Office. The 1:00 PM ceremony granted the new recruits full access to the network’s national property database, developer partnerships, training resources, and administrative support systems, strengthening the team’s presence in Mindanao’s most dynamic real estate market.
The April 30 signing adds to Wiretoppers’ rapid expansion. Earlier in the month, on May 4, the Cebu branch welcomed over 25 new agents at the Mango Avenue office, and the sub‑team Xfactor signed a batch in Bohol in late April. The Davao signing brings the group’s total agent count closer to its nationwide target as the Wiretoppers team continues to recruit across key growth corridors.
Recent Filipinohomes momentum in Davao
The signing follows a series of Filipinohomes milestones in the city in the first week of May. On May 7, Wire Toppers Davao Golden Lions and Team Smile held their affiliate contract signing at the same office, adding dedicated sales teams to serve the local market. The following evening, on May 8, Filipinohomes was named Top Realty of the Year 2025 (Davao) during Grand Land’s Grandchella Annual Awards Gala at Grand Regal Hotel, a recognition of the brokerage’s consistent sales performance in the city. These back‑to‑back events demonstrate Filipinohomes’ sustained commitment to building a strong, accredited sales force in Davao.
Davao City’s property market is posting some of the strongest take‑up rates in the country. According to Colliers Philippines director and head of research Joey Roi Bondoc, who spoke at the 2026 Davao Property Market Briefing, the average condominium take‑up rate in Davao stands at 90 %, a figure he called a “clear buy signal” for investors. The horizontal segment is even stronger: Davao del Sur recorded a 94 % take‑up for house‑and‑lot projects, while Davao del Norte posted 87 % . Lot‑only projects have seen annual price appreciation of up to 16 % , making them an attractive alternative for buyers.
The city’s hotel occupancy has rebounded from pandemic‑era lows to 50‑70 % , and domestic tourism continues to grow. Bondoc noted that Davao is already among the Philippines’ top‑visited destinations, and first‑time visitors often become repeat investors. Festival arrivals support that trend: Araw ng Dabaw 2026 posted a 15 % year‑on‑year rise in tourist arrivals in the first two months, with a single‑month jump of 18 % in February. The city is targeting a 50 % increase during the Kadayawan Festival later this year, fueled by stronger promotions and expanded tourism campaigns.
Affordable housing is also expanding under the national Expanded 4PH Program. Pag‑IBIG has approved funding for over 2,200 units in Pampanga, Manila, Misamis Oriental, and Davao, and People’s Ville in Calinan is slated to turn over more than 1,200 new units in 2026.
For the Wiretoppers team, the April 30 contract signing equips a new batch of salespersons with the tools to serve Davao’s active residential market. The new agents will undergo onboarding, including training on the network’s multi‑listing platform and integration with developer partners such as Grand Land and Cebu Landmasters Inc.
With Davao’s 90 % condominium take‑up rate, 94 % house‑and‑lot absorption, steady tourism arrivals, and an expanding 4PH housing pipeline, the Wiretoppers team is well positioned to help clients navigate one of the Philippines’ strongest property markets outside Metro Manila, backed by the full resources of the country’s largest real estate network.
