Wire Toppers Davao Golden Lions, Team Smile Sign Contracts With Filipinohomes on May 7
Updated May 8, 2026

Golden Lions and Team Smile, operating under the Wire Toppers Davao umbrella, signed their affiliate contracts at the Filipinohomes Davao office on May 7, 2026. The signing comes as Davao’s condominium market posts a 90% take‑up rate, the city ranks as the country’s top travel destination for 2026, and the Duaw Davao Kape ug Tsokolate Crawl expands in June.
DAVAO CITY – Two new teams have formally joined the Filipinohomes network in Mindanao. Golden Lions and Team Smile, operating under the Wire Toppers Davao umbrella, held their affiliate contract signing at the network’s Davao office on May 7, 2026. The ceremony granted their unit managers and salespersons full access to Filipinohomes’ national property database, developer partnerships, training resources, and administrative support systems.
The signing adds to a busy week for Filipinohomes in Davao. On April 23, founder and CEO Anthony Leuterio led a new agents orientation at Grand Regal Hotel, drawing aspiring real estate professionals from across the city. Earlier this month, a strategic evening session with unit managers and team leaders aligned second‑quarter targets and discussed how to integrate new digital tools into the network’s multi‑listing platform.
Why Davao City Remains a 2026 Real Estate Magnet
Davao’s real estate market has emerged as one of the strongest outside Metro Manila. Speaking at the 2026 Davao Property Market Briefing organized by Aeon Luxe, Colliers Philippines Director and Head of Research Joey Roi Bondoc said the region’s economy is growing faster than the national rate and identified a 90% average condominium take‑up rate as a clear buy signal for investors―nine out of every ten condominium units currently on the market have already been sold or reserved. Bondoc also noted that major developers are posting take‑up rates as high as 84%, while horizontal projects in Davao del Sur are recording an even stronger 94% take‑up.
The city’s latest accolade reinforces that momentum. Davao City ranked first as the Best Travel Destination in the Philippines in the April 2026 World Travel Index Report, scoring 75.66 and excelling in infrastructure, affordability, tourism experience, and overall visitor satisfaction. It also ranks among the country’s safest cities. The City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO) credited the success to the unwavering support of tourism and hospitality stakeholders, noting that the city recorded 2 million tourist arrivals in 2025, with the Kadayawan Festival drawing 206,506 visitors.
Coffee, Chocolate and Community Tourism Drive Foot Traffic
Recent initiatives are further boosting Davao’s appeal. The Duaw Davao Kape ug Tsokolate Crawl returns this June with an expanded format, inviting tourists and residents to explore the city’s homegrown cafés and chocolate shops. CTOO officer‑in‑charge Willenito Tormis Jr. said the month‑long endeavor has been scaled up to include more establishments, offering participants a chance to earn prizes from the city government. The crawl highlights Davao’s distinction as the country’s “Chocolate Capital,” a title conferred by Republic Act 115471 when the entire Davao Region was named the “Cacao Capital of the Philippines”. Meanwhile, new dining spots continue to open. Verde Cafe, a matcha café and coffee shop, opened on April 8, 2026, joining a vibrant local food scene that appeals to both residents and visitors.
Strengthening the Local Sales Force
For Golden Lions and Team Smile, the May 7 contract signing marks the official start of their journey within the Filipinohomes ecosystem. The teams will undergo onboarding, including training on the network’s multi‑listing platform and integration with developer partners active in the Davao region.
With Davao’s 90% condominium take‑up rate, a top‑ranking travel destination status, and an expanding coffee and chocolate tourism scene, the Wire Toppers Davao teams are well positioned to help meet rising demand for residential and investment properties, backed by the full resources of the country’s largest real estate network.
